Dear Narain, .I have done MBA from LPU and I had many friends from Civil Engineering, so I have idea course,Placements,Curriculum, as they use to share with me. I would say This programme at LPU include a blend of hands-on experiential learning and theoretical foundational courses. The very best include a mix of traditional learning in laboratories and classrooms with cooperative programs that allow students to gain work experience. Others may include independent research with faculty members another good bet for individuals hoping to go directly into research or the workforce upon graduation. Most of the faculty staff is from reputed organizations with their highest degree from various reputed institutes such as IITs, NITs, etc. Apart from that, faculty have got previous industrial experience also. The capstone project is an integral part of B. Tech program in which students have to pick a live project based on practical problem-based scenario (ideally from industry) and work for six months under a mentor and present a report at the end. This is beneficial to enhance your presentation skills. There is an internship program which could be an opportunity for getting work experience and increase your chance to get employment after you pass out. But, of course, your academic record should be good to get this placement option. Industrial visits are organized to nearby construction sites from time to time. There, you can see actual construction work going on. Be prepare to have dust on your shoes (believe me, it will be worth a lot). You have to ask questions yourself and trigger interest in the activities around you. In order to enhance the learning experience of the civil engineering students, the University has established a laboratory named, Unilab mechanical testing of building and construction material. National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) is a Constituent Board of Quality Council of India (QCI) that provides CAB (Conformity Assessment Boys) accreditation. LPU has very good placement records and good infrastructure, companies visit campus, L & T, Simplex Piles Ltd, Era Infrastructure, Gammon India Ltd to name a few. Industrial visits are organized to nearby construction sites from time to time. There, you can see actual construction work going on.Students are placed in companies like Cleanmax Solar, Al Rakha(UAE), Dharam Consulting, Era Infra Engineering Ltd, KEC International, Simplex, WSP India, XL Dynamic.

<p>LPU offers B.Tech in civil engineering , it has a good infrasture, labs are well equipped, the plcaments for civil engineering is good, LPU has tie ups with compaines L&amp;T, Ashoka Build con, Tata projects for internship and traning, the criculum also include hands on traning, lab work and exposure to morden civil- traning technolongies . The average package ranges from INR 4–6 lpa, and higher packeges go to the top performer . Lpu also provide support for higher education and many students opt for going higher studies in forgien countries .</p>
