These are the basic courses under Hotel Management:B.Sc. (Hotel Management)Bachelor of Hotel Mgt. And Catering Technology (BHMCT)B.A. (Culinary Arts)B.Sc. (Airlines, Tourism and Hospitality)BBA (Tourism and Hospitality)*BBA (Airlines and Airport management)*M.Sc. (Hotel Management)* All the degrees are having their own genre and forte. If you want to pursue the career in the Commercial Aviation Industry then Degree in Airlines is the good Options. On the other hand, Hospitality Industry is genre where I never found downfall rather now a days, especially in developing countries, it is growing like anything. I would like to tell you that degree in airlines are generally of 3 years duration whereas Hotel Management degree is most likely of 3 years and 4 years duration both. Although Hotel Management degree have the longest gestation period among the two but Hotel Management degree paves a way for you in both the Industries Aviation and Hospitality Industry as well. In India, I must say LPU is might be as good as IHM's in North India. Placements are very good in it, salary packages are very good. In fact I have heard few overseas placements also.
