Hello, I am alumni of Lovely Professional University and I have few friends who has completed BHMT from same University, So I have idea about this course. The FEAT was on display at Baldev Raj Mittal Unipolis. LPU School of Hotel Management organized a Mocktail Competition to let the students create some new thirst quenchers. Students created artful concoctions, and presented with great verve and flair. They have separate dept which looks after placement opportunities. Apart from that, each school has its own placement coordinator who is responsible and actively works for not only calling companies to the campus, but also for preparing students for placements by giving them proper training. Dear Venkatesh, Yes, LPU is a good option for the hotel management course. My sister completed her B.Sc. (Hotel Management) course from LPU and now working in Taj Hotel Delhi. Let me share few points about the Hotel Management programme at LPU : Curriculum: High academic standards are maintained by offering the curriculum framed in consultation with industry experts. Student exposure: Being a part of a resource-rich University, the students have an advantage of interdisciplinary exposure which is not possible in standalone colleges. University-Hotel: The School also trains its students in the campus hotel named UniHotel of 25 rooms hosting national and international guests where students practice along with the staff. Infrastructure: The School has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. All kitchen and bakery are equipped to enable a student to perform scientifically and to attain their best of learning through most modern gazettes. We have few training restaurants to teach a student about the authentic serving style of food and beverage.
