LPU is good in all perspectives whether it is teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. My lot of friends have done B.Tech, M.Tech from LPU and they have wonderful experience and they are doing great in their fields with handsome salary packages. LPU provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 Lacs per annum. As per the last year record of LPU The average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10lakh per annum. Yes, no doubt. Recently in 2017, 6k admissions had been taken in CSE department only. For hostel, it depends on whether you are a girl or boy. For boys, there are 8 hostels and 2 apartments and for girls, there are 6 hostels with high maintenance facilities.
