  • Yes, it is. Students develop competence in areas like Programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing, etc. To enable the students to keep pace with changing technological advances, the university has industrial tie-ups with Oracle and SAP. Yes, no doubt. Recently in 2017, 6k admissions had been taken in CSE department only. For hostel, it depends on whether you are a girl or boy. For boys, there are 8 hostels and 2 apartments and for girls, there are 6 hostels with high maintenance facilities.

LPU's Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET/PET) is in fact not an hour-long session with a fixed time allotment; rather, it is a combination of physical tasks conducted in succession sprinting for 50m, broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3 kg for men and 2 kg for women), and finally 1000m of run/walk. The time taken in doing the complete tasks varies with the fitness of the candidate, commonly taking from 20 to 45 minutes for a session. The candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts.
