Is LPU a good university good for B.Tech in CSE?

CSE dept. of LPU is having highest number of students under a single dept. Being an alumni of LPU I had many friends from CSE and I used to see them wearing formal dress almost every day because their placement drives would happen every day in their final year. Most of the students get offers in their third year itself. The placement record of CSE from LPU is phenomenal. Every year LPU breaks its own record in terms of placements. Many giants like Amazon, Interviewbit have offered packages of around 26LPA to LPU students from CSE. VMWARE, Jugnoo, Pegasystems have offered packages of 9LPA to students , many other companies like Wipro, Capgemini, Bosch have offered packages of 6 LPA and the list is endless. The CSE dept. of LPU has various tie-ups with Google, Pega, VMWARE,AUTOMATION ANYWHERE, INFORMATICA, COMPUTING TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (CompTIA) . The university has sate of the art labs with latest software to provide hands on practical exposure to students. Every year students develop various applications and enhance their capabilities to meet the industry demands as soon as they pass out from LPU. As per their website LPU offers a plethora of options for B-tech CSE. Some of them are as follows: 1. B.Tech.(Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)) 2. B.Tech. (Hons.)(Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)) 3.B.Tech. (Computer Science and Engg. - Data Science (ML & AI)) with upGrad 4.B.Tech. (Computer Science and Engg.- Full Stack Development) with upGrad 5.B.Tech. (Computer Science and Engg. - Android Application Development) 6.B.Tech. (Computer Science and Engg. - Data Science) 7.B.Tech. (Computer Science and Engg. - Big Data) 8.B.Tech. (Computer Science and Engg. - Machine Learning) 9.B.Tech. (Computer Science and Engg. - Cyber Security) 10.B.Tech. (Computer Science and Engg. - Cloud Computing) Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. In short, if you have opted for any course in CSE from LPU, then you need not to worry about getting placed. Hi there Well, I feel LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department has been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because my cousin brother has already completed B.Tech CSE from Lovely Professional University. His experience at LPU was amazing. He has discussed placements, exposure, academics etc. Honestly speaking, the quality of education provided at any of the universities in India has been standardized by the autonomous body called University Grants Commission (UGC). It is just a matter of public opinion that sometimes condemns a university while over-hyping another. Of course, few other factors, such as the university intake of good candidates and the output of taught, trained, and efficient candidates who get successful placements during the course of the past couple of years, matter, of course, but lets get to that a while later. In regards to the stream concentric study of Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at Lovely Professional University, it is undoubtedly a very good idea. The faculty in the CSE department of LPU is just as qualified as any of the popular universities and institutes of India that offer this discipline names I don't even need to say! It has produced perfectly efficient computer engineers in the past couple of years who have eventually landed salary packages as high as 42 LPA! Over the past couple of years, the department has seen a rise in the number of students taking admission in the stream. Due to this, the competition between students within the department has increased, and this has indirectly improved the overall performances of the batch as a whole. Without mentioning unrealistic figures, I am going to say that the students graduating from the CSE branch at LPU get placed more often than any other department from the same university. Not everyone gets placements in a core company, but they will get placed in companies functioning in various other fields. Don't be disheartened. It is a great opportunity for the engineering graduates, as a job in any field (better, if related to technology) will in the long run help you grab work experience, which in turn will lead you to have your dream career with your dream package Any engineering stream will make you qualified enough for good jobs.
