Is LPU a ragging and drug fre campus?

Yes, LPU is a ragging & drug free campus and they have achieved this by deploying the Security guard and CCTV cameras all around the University to locate any unlawful activities. As I was also an alumni of this University, I never heard or came across any such incidence during my degree and moreover every time you will be entering in the campus you will be thoroughly checked for any suspicious item.

LPU is absolutely a ragging and drug free campus. There is no tolerance from LPU for drugs and alcohol. A dedicated & expert department of security officials and personnel are on duty 24 x 7 to ensure that no drug ever enters the campus. The campus have more than 4000 cctv cameras and 400 + security guards keeping an eye all around the campus and makes sure None of these kind of exploicit activities takes place. A majority of security personnel and gunmen are experienced ex-servicemen, fully equipped and trained. Lady security staff are specially recruited for girls' hostel security. I hope this helps.

<p style="text-align: justify;">Being alumni of Lovely Professional University I would say Lovely Professional University<strong> Yes, absolutely LPU is drug-free.</strong> It is the most secure campus in the world. 0% Ragging, 0% tolerance to any illegal substances like alcohol, drugs, etc. Strict action used to be taken against the defaulters in case non-adherence of to such rules. It is against the university policy. A dedicated &amp; expert department of security officials and personnel is on duty 24 x 7 to ensure that no drug ever enters the campus.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">From the day first to till the end day in the University. I never find such kind of activity inside the campus. The rules and regulations are very tough on the campus. If someone is found doing any kind of misbehaving inside the campus, strict action is taken by the management against the person.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Following are the security measures undertaken by the university for the safety of the students: 1) There are 7400+ CCTV surveillance on a 24X7 basis from every corner. 2) 400+ Security Officials are there. The security department provides the necessary electronic security support system with more than 4000 CCTV cameras for the safety of the students and staff. Also, the staffs that LPU has for this security purpose are very well trained. A majority of security personnel and gunmen are experienced ex-servicemen, fully equipped and trained. I have studied in this university and I never had seen any such acts neither faced such situations personally. Lovely Professional University is ragging free educational organisation. Campus is very strict about for ragging and violence. There is an Anti-Ragging Committee designed as well for looking on these topics. In the past 13 years no case has been reported for the same because LPU is very strict towards their rules and regulations. Its atmosphere is very friendly with lots of security persons in its 600 acres of campus. You will SEE one security person after every 100 meters and they show quick response. Also CCTV cameras are well installed around every corner of university to figure out any issue- in hostels, classrooms, gates, lawns etc. Ragging is totally prohibited in LPU, and anyone found guilty of ragging and/or abetting ragging, whether actively or passively or being a part of conspiracy of ragging is liable to be punished. University has an separate ANTI-RAGGING committee to monitor such activities inside campus. You would love the Environment here.
