Is LPU a right option for mechanical engineering?

Yes, there is a better infrastructure for mechanical engineering. Campus environment is also suit to you. But is too costly to pursue any of the course from LPU.

Hi there, the LPU offers a B Tech in Mechanical Engineering. It is an Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal etc. Specialisation. The Eligibility Criteria is (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST/ JEE (Mains). For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) If Candidate has 85 or more percentile in JEE (Mains), then LPU NEST is exempted. The course aims at enabling the student to Effectively build and communicate the solutions using learnings from basic mechanical engineering, basic sciences, mathematics and computational skills and tools. He should have the Ability to design using Design of Machine Elements theories and to create prototypes using relevant manufacturing technology. He should acquire Capability of building efficient energy conversion systems using basic understanding of Thermodynamics Heat transfer and Fluid Mechanics. There is no point to compare because every organisation is just doing good at their places but yes I have heard alot about LPU because of its good number of years of establishment and the rankings it possess. Last year my friend wanted to admit his son in good engineering institute. After lot of inquiry, we decided to opt for LPU. As we all know that B.Tech Mechanical Engineering is the branch of engineering that involves production, designing, and operations of machines and the main objective of LPU is to prepare students for applying the principles of mechanical engineering for designing, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
