Is LPU best for aerospace engineering and placement?

Look you can't say the best for aerospace engineering. Many other reputed universities you may get. I think LPU won't be a better option.You should try somewhere else. I agree LPU has a good hall of fame in other substreams of engineering but not aerospace.

Hi Shashank, This is new department and is doing very well. The course for Aerospace Engineering has been designed for learners who intend to design aircraft, spacecraft, satellites and missiles. In addition, these engineers test prototypes to make sure that they function according to plans. These professionals also design components and sub-assemblies for these craft like engines, air-frames, wings. The course equips a student to be able to effectively build and communicate the solutions crafted using learnings from basic aerospace engineering, basic sciences, mathematics and computational skills and tools. He will have the ability to comprehend the problems and craft solutions in the field of Aerodynamics, Aerospace structure, Aerospace Vehicle design and propulsions. He will rightly apply the associated learning for the atmospheric Flight mechanics, JET And Rocket propulsions, Gas Dynamics, and Space Flight Mechanics for the solutions to real world problems. He would demonstrate the ability to propose cost effective optimized solutions for aerospace sector using simulated environment of Computer aided design, computer aided manufacturing and computer aided engineering. As per the NIRF ranking, LPU is ranked 66th among all government and private universities. As per the Times of India ranking LPU was at no 36. The highest package offered in the course is about 9.55 Lacs, the lowest package is 3-4 Lacs and the average package is 6-7 Lacs. There are many internship opportunities at the university. Dear aspirant, B.Tech in Aerospace engineering is one of the most sought-after programs at LPU. LPU is way ahead in this field as it has even set up the Center for space research and mission control. LPU gives numerous options for every qualifying student to get a solid job. Every year, more than 550 companies come to LPU to recruit. Only 5-10 people have got placements from college and more than 5 were placed in IT jobs. The highest package offered maybe of 7 lacs as far as I know. Not more than 20 percent got internships from the college last year. Aerospace engineering is the primary field of engineering concerned with the development of aircraft and spacecraft. It has two major and overlapping branches: aeronautical engineering and astronautical engineering. Aerospace is one of the various fields studied in LPU.
