If you see the teaching, it's tremendous. But my friend, do not join LPU. It is rumored that students who do not get admission into local colleges of tier state, go at LPU. Same is the case with Amity. The whole campus, placement is to just attract you students. Have you ever heard advertisement coming for VIT, BITS? I never had seen any such stuff. But LPU and Amity are doing such because they want money and students. So I prefer you to select colleges in your own state or any other private universities like VIT, SRM, BITS, etc. but not LPU and Amity.

Dear Kilaru, Yes, LPU is the best private university for the B.Tech degree programme. Many of my friends have completed their B.Tech degrees from LPU in different streams. Hi, Once I was travelling by train from New Delhi to Jalandhar and on my adjacent seats, two students were sitting who were studying in engineering in LPU. Being an educator, I was curious to know about the University, so the same I did. The points they highlighted I will mention below 1) The faculty and the infrastructure and other facilities are excellent. LPU has been ranked 78th amongst all government and private universities by NIRF ranking released by MHRD, Government of India. 2) The placements are 100% and the preparation for the same starts from the very first year. Recently, a girl got placed at a package of 42 LPA. Moreover, Amazon recruited LPU students with 28 LPA. More than 700 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with an average package of 6-11 LPA. 3)They give you the option to choose your pathway elective as well that whether you want a corporate Job or Research or Government Job or you want to be an entrepreneur. 4) There is more than twelve Center of Excellence established by reputable companies like Automation Anyware, Texas Instruments, CISCO, SAP, Cadence, etc. 5) There is an innovation studio in LPU where students can work on their ideas.
