Being an alumnus of LPU, I will say LPU is better. Here I am not comparing any college, just giving my opinion. The reason why LPU is better:- 1. Lovely Professional University has become a leading and progressive educational hub in North India. Owing to the global approach that they adopt to instill the practicalities of their respective careers into the students has made LPU the most preferred educational destination among the students these days. Lovely Professional University is rapidly growing up large on the scale of education in the country. Recently being inducted high in the ranking by NIRF. 2. Placements-The placements are comparatively high in LPU than in Sharda University. About 90% of the students get placed every year in our department. Many well-known companies visit here for placement. If you have a fine knowledge of the subject, you will surely get placed. The highest package goes from 7 Lacs to 26 Lacs, and the average is up to 5 Lacs. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. There is a huge opportunity to get placed in a good MNC through Lovely Professional University. Many placement drives are organised by the university to get more jobs for their students. Many companies visit here for placement drive, and it is awarded for the most number of placements in a year. Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. Hi there, Well, based on my own experience, I say YES, LPU is better. Being aan alumni as well as an existing student at LPU, I would like to answer your question. I have pursued Masters degree from Lovely Professional University and now I am pursuing Ph.D. Mathematics from the same. It is an overwhelming feeling to express my views on my University. To the best of my experience, LPU is one of the top universities in India. I have pursued Masters in Mathematics from LPU and now fortunately pursuing doctorate from the same. Therefore to my experience, I am highly satisfied with all the policies especially the tight security and the quality of education. Since, LPU is a very diverse university, and one can not underestimate the talent of LPU for how it attained the status of University in just 5 years. That according to me is the remarkable point to be considered. LPU also offers a great residential facility to its students. Along with that, it has got other fascinating things like swimming pool, gaming complex, university-mall. I must say it is a city in itself. I have never compromised with any policy of LPU as much as I feel. Be it education, its students score even 10 CGPA. Be it extracurricular, it has a huge repo in that too. Placements are extraordinary, lpuians are placed in top companies like Microsoft, Amazon etc. Be it research, being an existing research scholar at LPU, it contributes enough to creation and innovation. I am very near to completing my 2nd year here and I can firmly say it is far better than CU or Amity. The placements, campus life, infrastructure, crowd, exposure, etc. All make LPU a better university than the other two. Placement here isn't like anywhere else. Near to about 600 companies visit LPU every year with around 50% of them offering dream packages. And as far as the rankings are concerned LPU is now among the TOP 25 Institutes in India to be recognised for promoting Innovation and Entrepreneurship by MHRD, government. Of India. It is also ranked amongst the TOP 100 Indian Universities and Colleges in the overall category by NIRF. The exposure that you will get here is also incomparable. Talking about diversity, you'll not only find students from different parts of India but also from 40+ countries as well making it a completely different world in itself. Moving on to infrastructure and sports at LPU, they are just great at LPU. In sports, you will have almost all the sports from swimming, archery to multiple basketball courts, etc. Hence, to sum it up, LPU is a really good choice when it comes to your higher studies be it for Undergraduate level, postgraduate, or Ph.D. level.
