Dear Sameeksha, Both IIT Roorkee and LPU are the best public and private institutes in India respectively. Being alumni of LPU I would like to share information about LPU with you. LPU is spread over 600 acres of campus having 30000+ students and 3500+ faculty and staff. Many students come across the world which makes you feel like you are in a foreign country. LPU offers more than 200+ programmes every year in different fields including economics, law, performing arts, management, engineering, fashion design, journalism, and zoology. Students can gain a Diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees. Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA till now. Scholarships: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. LPU also helps students in the Education loan facility. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Infrastructure: All the facilities are available on the campus itself, a student does not need to go outside for anything. In terms of comparison as well with Amity, Manipal or any other, LPU is a better option, in terms of placements, best curriculum, infrastructure, well-experienced faculty, and provides hands-on experience on the latest technologies. The curriculum blends in with the technology. It provides for multiple industrial exposures, live projects, an updated curriculum rigor and technology along with very good placements and personality development. Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The faculty members are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. They are always ready to help the students. During the exams, professors arrange special classes for the students to help them revise better and clear their doubts. Record placements with over 610 hired on a single day by cognizant.
