Is LPU faculty highly qualified as compared to other colleges?

LPU has about 2300 faculty members, out of which more than 700 are PHDs, 100+ Post doctoral and more than 200 from IITs and IIMS. Apart from these LPU attracts faculty from USA, Slovakia, Germany, France, Serbia, Russia, Romania, Portugal, Poland, Netherlands, Brazil, China, Ukraine, Turkey, Togo, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Columbia etc. So, not only well, qualified, LPU boasts of a huge diversity of faculty from all across the world. LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. LPU is the leading private university. It has dedicated, experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members (M.Tech. Qualified, M.Phil Ph.D. from IITs, IIITs, NITs, and various other reputed institutions. Some even have field/ industry experience. The students achieve the most because of the efforts made on them by the faculty members, the knowledge they provide, the experience they share leads to the base for the students to achieve success. Highly experienced faculty with good research work and publication is adding immense value to the academic life. Most of them have years of research and teaching experience. The faculty is not only experienced but is updated with the latest learning by industry experts in the faculty development programs held at regular intervals. The faculty is academically very helpful too. There are continuous efforts by faculty to contribute to upliftment of student's career.

Being the alumni of LPU. I would like to share that the faculty members at LPU always burn the midnight oil so that their students outshine in their respective fields as well as careers. LPU composed of the best faculty members from IIM, IITs and the other best B schools. Maximum faculty members are PhD's or pursuing the same. One of the most interesting thing is that very recently LPU has propounded an app through which the students could communicate their grievances, discussions or other material could also be uploaded by the professors on it. I believe this is the best platform where the students could at point of time discuss anything to their faculty members. This would also lead to the better understanding between both the levels. Research papers, Book chapters, Patents are playing protagonist in the life of professors so this could also decline the gap between the professors and students. LPU has also collaborated with foreign faculty members, so the students are also getting the opportunities to interact with them.

Hello Saezy, Actually, in India, there are a lot of good colleges and faculty members but if I talk about LPU then yes it is actually better than other colleges as per my experience. I have spent 4 years for my graduation and as per my experience LPU faculty is really well experienced, supportive, and last but not least they understand the students. During my graduation, I never faced any disappointments from the faculty side. They have great knowledge and their way of teaching is really interesting. The best part is that they always helped beyond their job timings I learned from most of the Ph.D. faculty members and they all have more than 15 years of experience in teaching and research. The faculty of LPU are trained professionals who have studied at top universities of the country and have worked with industrial giants and also are equipped with academic excellence. Most of them have studied at reputed universities and institutions. They deserve to be the faculty hence they are at the dais. The academic and professional details of the faculty are mentioned on the website. The teachers also ACT as mentors to the students. The students can call them and talk to them to get an answer to any academic or personal problem they feel stuck at. The faculty are engaged in higher learning and research work simultaneously. Such is the ambiance of LPU. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies based on its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, and its faculty, to mention a few. LPU has over 2300 highly qualified faculty, and most of them are either Ph.D. or pursuing Ph.D. The faculty members give their best to make you understand things in an easy approach. University takes utmost care and no chance in choosing qualified faculty members. Also, the University keeps on conducting regular Faculty Development Programs so that they can update the faculty members with the industry and the latest needs. As far as the curriculum is concerned, the syllabus gets updated by industry experts so that the demands of the industry are MET once students pass out from the university. This is very much helpful for students. The research-oriented faculty members are very much dedicated to carrying out research work. They have many patients under their hood. The faculty members are awarded projects worth crores by the central government and foreign universities. And every year they get hundreds of research papers published which itself is an achievement. In short, the faculty members of LPU are very much dedicated to providing world-class teaching to its students. One unique thing about faculty is that at LPU if the students do not give good feedback to a particular teacher or do not like the way he teaches then they can report it to the head of the dept who reports the same to the head of school and finally the teacher gets replaced. However, one comes across such incidents not very often.

As far as I come to know from my brother who is studying at LPU, he told me LPU faculty members are well trained and they are experts. They are just not faculty members but mentors to students. LPU has highly qualified faculty members, many are from IITs, Iims and NIIT's as well. Learned faculty works hard on students to get them placed in the best of the companies. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university leaves no stone unturned to shape the future of its students. The faculty of LPU, updated with the latest methods of pedagogy (teaching) help turn students into a finished product with high market demand, yet with a social conscience and urge to contribute and give back. In comparison to other colleges LPU faculty is highly qualified I can't comment on as I myself has no experience but my brother observances say yes they are more trained and expert in their field as per their high qualified profile.

Being a alumni of this University, I would like to answer your query, First of all my experience at LPU was amazing, LPU is helping me grow professionally and personally with its career-oriented programs and support. As per my knowledge, Lovely Professional University has around more than 2000 faculty members in the university. The university has experienced, specialised and well-qualified faculty members. Some of the faculty members are from IITs, NITs, IIITs, Iims etc. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, They have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help they are ready to help you out. Professors of LPU are renowned for their friendly, open door approach. They bring their passion and enthusiasm for teaching into the classroom providing an intimate, interactive, personalized approach to learning The faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of International level. Research papers are published by the Faculty members. Faculty is involved in research and Patents are filed by the different faculty departments also. The faculty recruited by the university are only either experienced or an alumni of NIT's or IIT's, Iims Teaching mode is English, thus students who come from across India will be comfortable. The management is student friendly and helps out every one in need. Thee best part at LPU is that the feedback of students are frequently taken and considered I. e if they are facing any problem with any professor or not liking the way he teaches then they can report it to head of dept who reports the same to head of school and finally the teacher gets replaced. So no need to worry about faculty member or professors at LPU. Thank you!
