Hi,The strength of LPU lies in the trained and experienced faculty it has recruited. There are approximately 3000 faculty working to propel the students to a successful position. Faculty has been hired from IITs, NITs and even abroad. The faculty keeps themselves updated due to the various faculty development programs conducted in the campus by industry experts. The faculty offers the expertise with finesse in the classrooms. The faculty's dedication can be seen in the fact that even beyond the class hours they are ready to give the students an extra guidance and are always eager to help the student academically. Besides this the faculty works hard with the student for the success of various live projects as well as the curricular and extra curricular activities. I have not MET such experienced, trained and helpful faculty elsewhere. You can visit he campus and meet few members. Good luck.

LPU has about 2300 faculty members, out of which more than 700 are PHDs, 100+ Post doctoral and more than 200 from IITs and IIMS. Apart from these LPU attracts faculty from USA, Slovakia, Germany, France, Serbia, Russia, Romania, Portugal, Poland, Netherlands, Brazil, China, Ukraine, Turkey, Togo, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Columbia etc. So, not only well, qualified, LPU boasts of a huge diversity of faculty from all across the world. For LPU faculty members, the highest qualification will be PhD, but not for all. Most will be M.Tech but not less than that. Our HODs may be M.Tech, may be PhD, but one thing they all will be having in common is immense experience in teaching and academic management. Our deans are industrial people. Four faculty members in LPU are scientists and three are government researchers. Moreover, after the 2nd year, all are PhD holders. Since LPU shuffles its batch, you need to be in a good batch to be taught by good faculty members. PS- We had a Ph.D. faculty member from IIT Madras for Physics, but they don't teach well and that was our session where we discontinued to trust faculty members' degree with their knowledge. Hello! LPU has highly qualified faculty members, many are from IITs, Iims and NIIT's as well. They are not just faculty members but are mentors to students. Learned faculty works hard on students to get them placed in the best of the companies. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university leaves no stone unturned to shape the future of its students. As per my own experience I can proudly say that faculty members at LPU put up their 100% in the development of students. University takes utmost care and no chance in choosing qualified faculty members. Also, University keeps on conducting regular Faculty Development Programs so that they can update the faculty members with the industry and the latest needs. This is very much helpful for students. At LPU we have designed a special system that focuses on the student and his innate learning capacities through varied media. The centerpiece of the system is our faculty who are not only renowned for their individual research work, but are more like life guides and mentors, focused on helping students achieve their full potential. Thus a lot of our teaching is done in a manner that will ensure both retention and the ability to critically analyse and apply the knowledge gleaned. Yes, they are. Few of them may be newcomers with just completing their Masters, but the rest are carrying a bunch of degrees and experiences and they are highly paid too.
