Is LPU good for an LL.B. In terms of placements?

Dear student, BBA LL.B. Is having a great scope and the first batch of it passed out this year with most students getting placed in good legal firms and some opting for higher studies. LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty, some of them had been practising lawyers of High Courts and respectable Supreme Court as well. Students are given a lot of practical knowledge by regularly taking them on visits to court and jail premises as well as they are made to participate in moot courts. Apart from this, they are also sent on internship wherein they get a chance to learn the nuances of the field under the guidance of practising lawyers. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students. The curriculum taught incorporates specific courses (subjects) under the notion of Professional Enhancement Programmes (PEP) in which the students are prepared to crack the placement processes. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ). Law department at LPU is one of the first departments that came up when LPU was taking its shape. According to NIRF ranking the Law School is ranked 24th. The vision of the school is studying by books is not a rule of Law. The course aims at preparing the students with an interest to pursue legal education with social sciences to benefit society. Creation of well trained and dedicated professionals in the legal framework. It also aims at nurturing a graduate with in depth knowledge of different aspects of laws comprising civil, criminal, taxation and international laws and ensuring conceptual clarity for judicial services aspirants. Law students are prepared to spot legal issues from a set of hypothetical facts and brainstorm various legal consequences, to be a perfect legal professional. The courses are approved by the Bar Council of India. The Career guidance magazine Higher Education Review has recognised Law School at Lovely Professional University among top-ten most promising institutions of India for its capability of producing next-gen legal professionals. The eligibility criteria for the course is 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. For SC ST applicants there is 5 percent relaxation while there is 3 percent relaxation for the OBC candidates. In addition to it, for North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) too there is 5 percent relaxation. The LPU students were invited by Punjab Police for an internship where they were taught nuances of investigation. The university has an MOU with NLSIU Bangalore for various academic programmes. The highest salary last year was 6.2 LPA and 5.1 LPA was the average salary.

Lpu is good for LL.B. But for placements you have to check for visit LPU official site once.

Arness Attorneys, New Delhi, 3 students are placed at the package of 3-5 Lacs per annum during the initial training period Sanatan Group, 2 students are placed at the package of 3-5 Lacs per annum during the initial training period MAP Legal Corporation, Stipend during training: Rs. 7000 during training post-confirmation at the package of 5 Lacs per annum during the initial training period Manupatra & Co, Stipend during training: Rs. 6000/- post-confirmation at 3-6 Lacs per annum during the initial training period Integrity Associates, New Delhi annual package of Rs. 300000 per annum and above.
