Is LPU good for animation?

There are many courses of animation in india and few places are doing really great. I have done my Masters from lovely professional university LPU provides 6 Degrees in Bachelors in field of multimedia, Animation and gaming. B.Sc. ( Multimedia) 3 yearsB.Sc. ( Gaming) 3 yearsB.Sc. ( Graphics) 3 yearsB. design ( Multimedia) 4 yearsB. design ( Gaming) 4 yearsB. design ( Graphics)4 yearsand two course in MastersM. design ( Multimedia). M.Sc. (Multimedia). First of all, There is separate Department Called Multimedia which comes under school of design III. This Department has well-equipped labs with high end workstations and it has gaming studios also where students can play and test the games on play station, PC and x box platform. Multimedia students of LPU has campus placements in companies like Amazon ( as 3d Artist), Rockstar games, Kony India, xentrix studio, Dq entertainment, Prime focus, Green gold animation and so on with maximum packages of 8 Lacs per annum and average packages are 5 Lacs per annum. LPU is good for animation but if you are deep into the animation, there is no sense of spending a lot inside the university. There are many such training centers nearby many cities which are specific to the animation courses. I would advice you to join that first. Moreover, LPU would be a good option from the perspective of exposure and practical implementation but the package would not differ much if you work hard at the training centers, and you can complete your studies at low cost. If that is not a problem, you can join LPU. Thanks

Hello, you should better go to the college to get deep insights. Ask from the current animation students of that college and if possible talk to alumni. You will get to know how good the faculty is and what all software they will teach you. Compare the fee structure for the same course from two or three institutes and colleges. All the best!
