The School of Automobile Engineering at LPU is very impressive: LPU Students wins Car Design Competitions at the Delta Automation Contest-2017 in China among which more than 75 teams participated from across ASIA. In another achievement, Mechanical engineering students designed a futuristic Formula One Racing Car at SAEINDIA 2017 Noida. India's first-ever self-driving, solar-powered bus hits the road and made the maiden journey at the Indian Science Congress which was inaugurated by The Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, held at LPU. The bus was designed by LPU students. LPU is not that good for automobile engineering. Mechanical branch is also suffering from a crisis of less placements in their core stream as per sources. I would suggest you to go for ECE or CSE branches in LPU if you can or you need to always be in TOP merit holders to achieve a good placements.
