Being an alumni of LPU I would rather say that the school of Agriculture in Lovely Professional University is among the best place for pursuing the B.Sc. In agriculture. Now you would be saying why I am saying like that, actually my cousin has completed his degree from here only. The most significant thing which should be emphasized is that LPU is the first private university which has been approved by ICAR. I along with my cousins had visited the fields, labs. Well-equipped and well grown from the last couple of years. Moreover, LPU is the first private university got ICAR approval. (hons) Agriculture in LPU and he told me that the cutoff for honours programs are sightly higher then the rest of the courses. The cutoff is more than 40% as compared to 30% for the other programs. Being a student of LPU I can assure you that LPU is the best option for agriculture, as The school of agriculture is recognised by ICAR ( Indian Council Of Agricultural Research). Plus LPU is always in news regarding their achievement in agriculture courses like recently there was amazing news that Flying Farmer drone LPUs Novel Invention featured in Forbes India!, which I think is a very big achievement.
