Lovely professional university is the first private university to get accreditation from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). LPU provides the quality education by the well qualified teachers. LPU has become a brand across the globe. It has various national and international tie-ups. LPU provides a proper atmosphere or environment for agriculture students. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. Students here are given the opportunity to work on the live projects. University provides additional professional enhancement classes as part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams. LPU excels in terms of placement as well. Students of agriculture are availing a good amount of packages from the recruiters. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms. In the situation of Covid-19, LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms. Because of which LPU NEST is not compulsory for all the programmes. As for this programme LPU NEST works for scholarship purpose only. Here I am sharing the eligibility criteria of B.Sc. Hons Agriculture programme I. e. Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years. LPU is one of the best choice for agriculture programme. Lovely Professional University is first private university accredited by Indian Council of Agricultural Research. No other private university has this accreditation. LPU is one of the great place for education where the management actually believe on actions rather than words. Whatever they promised they delivered to us along with in campus placement at good package and best time of life.

Being a student of LPU, I think I can provide you with an honest opinion. Though I'm not pursuing my B.Sc. In agriculture, I do have many friends who are pursuing the same. LPU is accredited by ICAR. It is the 1st private university to get accredited by ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research). B.Sc. Agriculture degree offers a number of avenues for growth. The graduates desirous of specializing may opt for a Masters programme. The Undergraduate Degree in B.Sc. Agriculture consists of few core subjects such as Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Genetics, Plant Pathology, Land Surveying, Entomology Horticulture, Physiology, Food Science, water resource management, and Animal Products management. A number of subjects such as Economics, Meteorology, Technology, Business, and Production Management are studied in close reference to the subject. A large part of the agriculture programme is based in practice inculcated via field trips, study tours, and projects. A B.Sc. Graduate is expected to master concepts like macro-micro crop planning, Agri-financing and agricultural Statistics and use them extensively. LPUs school of Agriculture has ICAR approval. Students who have passed out from LPU have got jobs in various departments and states. LPU has made a good name for itself in a short span of time by working hard for its students in terms of education, faculty, placements, infrastructure, etc. It works for the overall development of its students. Its main aim is to provide students with ample exposure both in the form of theoretical and practical knowledge for which there is much emphasis on workshops, live projects etc. Along with class room teaching. The university has made quality education possible for all by providing good scholarships under different categories.
