Is LPU good for B.Tech CSE? I couldn't qualify for JEE Mains.

    Dear Anuj, Yes, LPU is good for the B.Tech in CSE. Moreover, you need not worry about the JEE Mains if have not qualified. You can appear for the LPU NEST exam conducted by LPU and can get admission easily. I did MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is also studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few points I would like to share with you why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students.     In order to get admission in CSE there is an eligibility criteria that needs to be fulfilled by the student. For B.Tech (CSE) the eligibility includes 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) + LPUNEST. For B.Tech CSE (Hons) 70% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST. LPUNEST cut off scores varies with different domains of B.Tech. JEE (Mains) exam score may be considered for scholarship but you need to qualify the eligibility criteria first. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories:

    Hi Anuj, JEE Mains is an competitive exam and not everyone are able to clear JEE Mains. But that does not mean that they are less talented. LPU provides admission based on LPU NEST score/ +2 scores. If you meet the criteria then you can get admission into LPU. Past is past, what LPU wants from you is to give your best during your B Tech. That's what matters for LPU. LPU gives many opportunities to prove our skills. LPU has dynamic curriculum.
