Hello, I have done my Engineering from Lovely Professional University and I am a proud alumnus of LPU. I can share details about LPU but I cannot comment anything about others. Starting with my experience from the first year onwards, where we asked to join some Placement.Enhancement Classes, that day I wondering why there is a need of same at this early stage and then the day I was sitting in my placement drive, I recall all those essential points which were taught to me that day and those eventually helped me in securing my seat in an interview. One more point I would like to share that it is not just calling the company to the campus, but preparing the students up to such level that they can crack any interview is equally important. So, I have observed, LPU faculties, put in a lot of efforts to get the students placed. So, preparing the students to such level is more important and putting up efforts for that is more important and that what LPU always takes care of. University has separate placement enhancement department, which focuses on overall development of students.University keeps on conducting, guest lectures, seminars, live projects, hands on training, sharing views and experiences by the experts and many more events which helps the students to broaden their thoughts and cope with the corporate world. In my batch I remember, almost 95% students were placed and there were many who got the multiple packages as well. I was one of them, I remember my day I am hopping around the campus and was looking around which option to choose, Finally I landed up choosing HCL, with which I am currently working as well since last 4 years and have received many promotions and hikes. All I dedicate that to my faculties and mentors at LPU. They helped me in choosing the right decision at that time as well. Students are trained professionally from their first year onwards. The University provides maximum opportunities to students. It depends upon the students whether they want to grab the opportunity or not. Talking about my another life experience where we were asked to be a part of some live project in my second year and I was wondering, whether I am capable enough to be a part of such grand project from an MNC, but when eventually I started working, I realized I can do that and I had that much knowledge to be cope up with such projects. Both universities are excellent in their areas, as I am talking about LPU, this university is different in the northern region of India. The reputation of this university is higher than any other university around and cannot be compared because LPU has its own standards. The management of the university is one of the best in India as the syllabus of any college student has a case study on LPU management. There is also enough funding for startups and projects (high quality). Infrastructure: The campus has green spaces including air conditioning, Google and IMAC labs, litigation, fine art studios, countryside, space center, playgrounds and both girls and boys dormitories. Ranking: The second most important thing that an applicant can look at when applying for admission to a university or college is the ranking. Thus, 90-95 out of a hundred students of Lovely Professional University find a job. The highest salary package especially in B.Tech was 64 lacs per annum. 21 laws per year were used for administration. So I think the packages are great compared to what other universities offer. Ranking: If I talk about the ranking, LPU is among the top 100 private and public universities. As my friend is studying CSE at LPU and based on her experience I would like to tell you about the facilities our university offer for CSE. Now I will share with you some valid information. LPU Computer Science and Engineering Discipline encourage -round development through an industry-adapted curriculum focusing on enhancing both technical skills and soft skills. Each year, students of CSE secure placements in top international brands like Microsoft, Google, INTEL, DELL EMC, COMPTIA, BOSCH, AND PEGA with the highest package of 64 Lac. LPU has a fully equipped ultra modest Apple IMac lab, IOT lab, GOOGLE lab, BOT lab, CISCO lab, and BIG DATA lab to provide exposure to the latest software and other things.
