Is LPU good for civil engineering in terms of placements?

Dear Brijesh, Being alumni of LPU, I can answer this question as one of my known did B.Tech Civil from LPU. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. LPU students have availed opportunities of Placements in government services like the Indian Army and Indian Navy, IAS IES SSC and Air Force. The students of the School of Civil Engineering have placed many students in national and international organizations like Al-Rakha, Simplex, Cognizant Soma enterprises, L&T, Gammon, Zamil Infra, Unisys, Tech Mahindra, Xceedance, etc. The best thing I like about LPU about placement is, they provide placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. With the help of this, they can prepare themselves for placements till the pre-final year because the companies will start visit for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. LPU received an Employability award by Aspiring Mind in 2020 for best placement Institute in India. LPU is ranked 10th best university for Training and Placement in 2019 by Knowledge Review LPU got Golden Star Award 2018 for being University with the best placements in India. The companies that have recruited LPU students include giants like Larsen & Toubro Ltd, Simplex Infrastructure Pvt Ltd., Gammon India, National Highway Authority of India, HCC, Shapoorji & Pallonji, DLF Homes, RITES Ltd., NCC, SAIL, DMRC BHEL, etc. The highest package offered was 31 LPA (Code Nation) and the average salary is 4.2 LPA. Lovely Professional University is one of the best institutes for engineering in the state of Punjab. I am saying this because I am alumni of this University, I did MBA but have one friend who has done Civil Eng. From LPU. He told me B.Tech in civil engineering course involves so much more than theoretical know-how. In addition to classroom lectures, students here learn via hands-on experiences which include site visits, lab sessions and so on. PPTs, animations and similar technological techniques are a regular part of classroom teaching too. The course material provided here enables to practice civil engineering using up-to-date techniques, skills, and tools as a result of life-long learning ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data. The course benefits the students by giving them an understanding of professional, ethical, legal, security and social issues and responsibilities. The Department aims to provide students with a technical foundation incorporated with the industrial need together with the breadth needed in the profession via advanced study or field training, or as a base for other pursuits. In order to get this develop LPU have timely workshops, and seminars. Coming to faculty, they are one of the best mentors to students &amp; everything here is up to the mark. Most of the faculty staff is from reputed organizations with their the highest degree from various reputed institutes such as IITs, NITs, etc. Apart from that, faculty have got The college arranges frequent industry visits. New innovative ideas were framed into working models and were showcased to 10000+ school students. LPU supports innovation and research and hence provides students with such opportunities. The consortium of former LPU alumni and an active group of engineering professionals with a sound civil background share their experience on various technologies, industries, methodologies, and processes adapted by many MNC. Moreover, Intellectual Industry officials regularly visit the school to guide faculty members and students themselves. Workshops are being arranged to enhance student knowledge.
