Is LPU good for computer science engineering? What is the average package for this course?

Yes definitely, LPU is the right option. Earlier, I was not much aware of the university but when my neighbourer took admission in LPU, every other day she talked about the laurels which university had and the continuous efforts which university puts. I can highlight some of the key features of CSE being floated by LPU. Computer Science Engineering Programmes of LPU have been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future engineers, managers or entrepreneurs with a strong grounding in accounting and finance. The stress is laid on developing analytical, communication and decision making skills of students. The students are encouraged to undertake assignments/project work from the industry and work towards finding possible solutions to integrate their theoretical knowledge with industrial practices. It is worth mentioning that LPU offers department electives in computer networks, artificial intelligence, databases and information systems as well as computer programming and algorithms. In addition to this, students are exposed too the fields like cloud computing, IoT, data Science, Machine Learning, Big Data and many more. In terms of placements, more than 550 companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. The companies which have visited as of now are: Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, SAP Labs, Hitachi Power, Videocon, L&T Technology Services, Ericsson, HCL Technologies, Asahi India, Ceasefire etc. LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same, it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted from the company officials of Cognizant, SAP, Microsoft etc. So that updated curriculum is provided. LPU has his own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. Hello,I am talking about LPU only because I have seen the things in LPU with my own eyes as per my experience in LPU as an alumni, LPU is an outstanding place to pursue your studies. I have experienced in LPU as a student and I learned plenty of things during my graduation. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. I will highly recommended that if you really want to make your career with good level of education then you should go for LPU. When I was seeking college for admission for my graduation, I was quite confused. But after a long comparison with all relevant facts and figures I joined LPU and now I am an alumni of LPU and Decision for LPU was best decision of my life. LPU gave me extra edge in everything. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. LPU has around 2300 faculty members in the university. It has experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. Moreover the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) such as Amazon, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Trident Group, Cognizant Technology Solutions etc. And generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session. I believe that you should visit LPU campus.

Dear Saurabh Saini, Yes, LPU is good for computer Science engineering. My brother did B.Tech and M.Tech in CSE from LPU itself. He got placed in an MNC named Amazon, The average package of the CSE at LPU is 5.7 LPA. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE of 2012 batch, the knowledge that I gained while my course duration has helped me a lot in shaping my career. I am currently working as an Application Development Analyst in Accenture, Noida. To begin with, LPU provides a lot of options in engineering only. It is one of the most highlighted courses. It has B.Tech and B.Tech (Hons) courses. B.Tech (Hons. ). With time they had introduced my new programs considering in mind the change occurring in technology. LPU has been ranked in the top 100 private universities by many outer agencies such as Business Today, golden star awards, Digital learning, zee news etc. More than 600 companies visit every year for various industry-academia activities and campus recruitment of students from LPU Following is the data showing the placements of LPU students by top brand companies. 1. Microsoft with a package of 42 Lacs per annum. 2. Amazon with a package of 16 Lacs per annum The main concern of every student and their parents is the job and LPU fulfills that requirement. According to the placement data of 2019-20 LPU has given jobs to 90% of their students appearing in the interview. B.Tech in Computer Science is offered by numerous Universities across the country but only few offer this with unique curriculum and placements. As per my experience, I must say that LPU provides great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. LPU is far way ahead with any other institute in many parameters such as rankings, exposure and placements.
