There are numerous Universities across the country that offers Computer Science Engineering but as per my experience, I must say that LPU provides great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. The placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) such as Amazon, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Trident Group, Cognizant Technology Solutions etc. And generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session.

In my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and has practical exposure, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. LPU has been awarded with "Employability Award 2020". Hi, If I talk about the placements especially for the year 2021, pandemic doesn't stop LPU from getting the students placed. Every company conducted online tests and interviews, and the students were informed prior about the same. I must say that LPU nailed this time also if I talk about the placements. Let's discuss the stats of placement of CSE- Students are placed in WorkIndia at 35 LPA; CLOUDERA at 31 LPA; AMAZON at a package of 30 LPA. COMMVAULT SYSTEMS INDIA PVT. LTD. at 20 LPA, INFINEON TECHNOLOGIES INDIA PVT LTD - 13.75, etc. , An average package ranges from 5-10 LPA.

CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies, availing packages as high as 20 LPA, with few opting for higher studies. Check the link below for more insight about the course
