Is LPU good for CSE?

Hi, I am an ex student of CSE from LPU, As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. Curriculum in CSE branch is very well designed such that they can learn everything from basics to the in-depth knowledge of their field. The College takes them for the industrial visit for more growth and experience. It hands on experience by also working on live projects to develop a sense of problem-solving, and critical thinking in order to gain real-life understanding along with skill enhancement. In addition to core curriculum, the course offers subjects like communication and soft skills to enhance personality. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. CSE/IT students secured salary package of up to Rs 27.5 LPA and placement opportunities from companies like Amazon, Adobe, Bosch Engineering, VMware, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Kony India, SAP Labs, Schneider Electric India, HP India, LG Soft India, ITC Infotech, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, KPIT, Morgan Stanley, Drishti Soft Solutions, etc. Last year Tanya Arora from B.Tech CSE got 42 LPA from Microsoft. If it comes to the CSE programme, LPU is one of the best private universities in India for pursuing the CSE programme. I have also done an MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is also studying over there in B.Tech CSE There are a few points I would like to share with you why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries that help students to explore themselves more in their field such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade, etc. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities.
