Basically in Distance Education courses are developed / designed such a way so that professionals could accomplish the courses at ease. In my Opinion Lovely Professional University will be the best option for pursuing courses in Distance Education mode. Reasons mentioned below, (A) There are multiple variety of Programmes offered in Distance Education mode in LPU,
    1) Management (BBA, MBA)
    2) COMPUTER APPLICATIONS (CA) or INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) (BCA, DCA, M.Sc. IT, B.Sc. IT, MCA)
    3) Commerce (B.Com, M.Com)

The course for distance education courses is no less than regular courses. I am pursuing a degree from distance mode. There is no compromise on making the student understand the concept of the course but some unnecessary processes have been eliminated that irk the distance learners. LPU is affiliated with the Distance Education Council. Various courses the university offers include Management (BBA, MBA), COMPUTER APPLICATIONS (CA) or INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) (BCA, DCA, M.Sc. IT, B.Sc. IT, MCA). In 3) Commerce they are (B.Com, M.Com). In Arts (B.A. , M.A. Economics, M.A. Mathematics, M.A. English, M.A. History, M.A. Sociology, M.A. P

LPU is good, no doubt. But, I have heard that LPU is state restricted university, it means they can't offer their distance learning mode apart from Punjab. So, it is better to look other option like Amity University, Annamalai University, Mewar University, Suresh Gyan Vihar university etc. Which are not state restricted for admission.

If you do not have any job right now, if you are not working anywhere then distance MBA does not help. For any corporate, you are as good as a graduate. You won't get a salary at par with those from tier 1 or tier 2 MBA institute. If you are working, you may enhance your knowledge through distance MBA as it may help you to jump in a career where they need someone with an MBA. LPU will. But it is costly. You may opt for Pondicherry University for the same.
