The structure of the hotel management course at Chandigarh University is well thought out. From the third semester, students can choose what direction they want to move in like resort & event management or catering. This kind of flexibility really helps in shaping your future path. Labs are available for every kind of training like food production, front office, housekeeping, all well-maintained. Faculty here are experienced, and they're pretty approachable. They give personal attention if you're stuck and regularly share examples from their time in real hotels. Beyond academics, the university hosts seminars, events, and practical ses

Chandigarh University prepares hotel management students by letting them practise in spaces that feel exactly like a luxury property. The campus houses production, bakery, and kitchens; a model restaurant; housekeeping suites; and a mock front office loaded with the latest Opera Property Management System software. Students master check in, reservations, cashiering and real time reporting just as they would on a Hilton or Taj desk.

Beyond classic service, the curriculum adds tech driven hospitality (mobile check ins, smart room controls) and sustainability modules that cover energy efficient kitchens and eco luxury resort operatio

When it comes to hotel management placements, Chandigarh University holds a solid position. It ranked #20 in NIRF 2024 and is also #1 among Indian private universities in the QS Asia University Rankings 2025. These rankings reflect its strong industry links and structured academics. But placement is just one part of the experience. The university provides full lab support — from basic and advanced kitchens to front office, bakery, and housekeeping labs. These setups help us practice everything in a real environment. The campus itself is clean, spacious, and student-friendly with separate labs for communication skills and grooming. Sp

Real jobs come the quickest when a college already works with the brands you want to join, and Chandigarh University's School of Hotel & Hospitality Management is built on that principle. It has formal partnerships with Marriott, Taj Hyatt, Hilton, Oberoi, and other five-star groups. Second- and third-year students finish a six-month internship inside these hotels, rotating through kitchen, front office, housekeeping, and F&B outlets. Because recruiters have watched them work, nearly every intern receives a "pre-placement offer" before their final year.

In the 2024 drive, the department reported a 100% placement rate, with management-tr
