Mechanical engineering deals with the working and functioning of electrical appliances and motor vehicles which find large scope in the future markets. I am from Management background so I don't know about this programme deeply but my cousin brother has done ME from Lovely Professional University. Hi there, Mechanical Engineering is a highly dynamic programme, it requires the university/college to upgrade its curriculum as per industry which changes really fast. Very few universities have recognised this and developed the systems to inculcate this important point. Only LPU and to some extent thapar and PEC in northern part of India have been able to do it. There is no parameter in which LPU can be beaten by any other private university, usually I evaluate on parameters such as:
    1. Industry consulted curriculum
    2. Teaching pedagogy
    3. Centers of excellence
    4. Professional etiquette
    5. Student and faculty diversity
    6 Innovation, design
