Is LPU good for studying B.Sc in agriculture? Will I face any problem in getting jobs in India or abroad after the same?

LPU is known for B.Sc. In agriculture and its degree is valid in India and abroad as well. One of my cousins graduated in this course from LPU and I will highlight some of the features.
1. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation.
2. The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Ph. This and provide full support to the students.
3. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot.

Hi there, Agriculture is a very specialised field these days. There are ample job opportunities in this field provided you have the right skillsets. If we SEE the placements for Agriculture students, LPU takes the cake. Agriculture is a high demand career these days. For any agriculture course from undergraduate to doctoral, LPU is the first private University having ICAR accreditation in INDIA. This ensures that the prospective of LPU has ample resources, faculty, and infrastructure to run these courses. In northern India apart from government universities, there is only one University that is Accredited by ICAR to run agriculture courses, it is LPU. Go for it. Monikasiv, LPU is UGC approved autonomous university. It is best to study B.Sc Agri. from LPU as it is a brand name in the field of education. As for ICAR approval, it is a govt. process and concerned body will take their own time however we have initiated process after successful pass out of first batch B.Sc.(Hons) Agriculture (in May 2015) as per ICAR guidelines.

See, LPU is a deemed University. Its environment is good and records are good, but you have to make sure that you get campus placement because if you don't get a job from campus then you may face some problem.
