Hi, Both are good, but LPU has become a name in the field of education. They are imparting quality education at an affordable fee. The following things make LPU worth:
    1. The university is having a world-class infrastructure with modern amenities.
    2. Labs are equipped with the latest, high-tech equipment.
    3. Highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITS, Iims, and other reputed institutions in India and abroad.
    4. Good placements ranging from 5 LPA to 42 LPA and proper placement guidance/ placement classes.
    5. Scholarships for meritorious students.
    6. Extra-curricular activities for the overall development of students' personalities.

Both are fine in their own terms but I would like to share some insights about LPU. Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The syllabus is updated every 6 months which personally, It has separate lab facilities available for each course like robotics Lab, research lab, postgraduate lab, aviation lab, lab for fashion designing, advance kitch

KIIT is far better than LPU. It is one with the top 50 in NIRF rankings and with greater academic approach. Moreover, as far as the placements are considered, there are lot many companies in LPU visiting. Hence according to me, the first priority should be academics, which in KIIT is though better.
  • Dear Ashwani,
LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university leaves no stone unturned to shape the future of its students. It is definitely the first choice of both national and international students. At LPU majority of companies comes for CS/IT branches companies like CTS, HCL, Amdocs, Deloitte etc are major recruiter till 2015-16 but this year LPU has signed MoU with SAP and Oracle under which both these companies will give free of cost training to LPU engineering student in their technologies, so it is expected in coming years no of big companies will increase for on-campus placements.
