Is LPU good to pursue B.Tech in automobile engineering?

Hi there, being an alumnus I would like to share some of the crucial points of Automobile Engineering: Automobile Engineering is the branch of engineering which deals with designing, manufacturing, mechanical mechanisms as well operations of automobiles. It is also an introduction to vehicle engineering which includes cars, motorcycles, trucks and buses etc. Eligibility: Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST&For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants). The chances of you getting placed at a company solely depend upon you and not on anybody else for that matter. There is no set package that you receive after graduating. Job is used to sustain yourself while doing what you love. It isn't like that you provide money to the college to spend 4 years and after that, you get a job. You are getting educated and universities are not some job agencies so stop looking at a degree like that. Anyways, LPU gives great placements to capable students of automobile engineering. The maximum package availed by students at LPU in the Automobile Engineering programme is 10 LPA from Hettich India, Intellipat. The majority opt for Teaching/Research. Students get internships at Tata Motors Jamshedpur, Century Pulp & paper, Aeolus Aero-Tech Pvt Ltd, Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles, Sonalika Agro Solutions Tractors Ltd, Chopra Industries PVT LTD, Ultratech cement Limited, Shiroki Technico India PVT limited, Imperial Society of innovative engineer, Air India, Kartar Valve PVT LTD, INDO MIM PVT LTD, Geo Chem International Independent Inspection and testing Company, etc.

LPU is a university who frequently becomes the talk of the town. The events coverage in national and international level media has given this university an international level presence. Some of their achievements by the School of Mechanical engineering (automobile engineering) are impressive: LPU Students wins Car Design Competitions at the Delta Automation Contest-2017 in China among which more than 75 teams participated from across ASIA. In another achievement Mechanical engineering students designed a futuristic Formula One Racing Car at SAEINDIA 2017 Noida. India's first-ever self-driving, solar-powered bus hits the road and made the maiden journey at he Indian Science Congress which was inaugurated by The Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, held at LPU. The bus was designed by LPU students. Engineering Students From All Over India Participated In EFFI-Cycle 2018, Held At LPU Campus in Collaboration With Maruti Suzuki where there were more than 70 participants from institutions like IITs, NITs and from colleges across India. There was cash price of 1 Lacs at the national green mobility competitive event. LPU Students don't just draw a car design, they actually built it and presented it alongside Mercedes, BMW etc. At Auto Expo where LPU students showed 15 unique car designs and prototypes. LPU students design and race go karts, electric bikes, solar cars and efficient pedal cycles. That's the way to learn engineering! International Tie ups with more than 50 top universities all around the world provides ample opportunities for Abroad Summer Internships, Articulation Programs, Student Exchange programs at Scholarships.

Hi Saurabh, If you have 60% aggregate marks in 12th class, you will be eligible for it. You just need to qualify LPU NEST exam conducted by LPU. B.Tech Automobile grads from LPU are in high demand by various core mechanical companies as well. Dear Saurabh, Yes, it is good pursuing B.Tech in Automobile Engineering at LPU. My friend also did the same programme at LPU and got placed in an MNC. LPU is very good for automobile engineering. There are very Good placements in reputed companies. Students participate in various events like go-karts, entertainment events, project exposure like one India, one world, etc. The learning is based on Practical based and value-based. LPU provides a lot of opportunities to each and every eligible student for good placement. LPU rated as 11th Best in India from Zee News Survey in Placements. Saurabh, LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, etc. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Big companies like Tech Mahendra, Cognizant, Amazon, Adobe, etc come for recruitment purpose. Most of the B.Tech students are placed in good companies with high package. Students have been offered package as high as 20 lacs pa. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes. LPU is a single campus private university in India located in Jalandhar, Punjab with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members with more than 200 programmes. LPU has a beautiful campus with a great infrastructure with all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation and still working for more. The B.Tech automobile engineering branch has very experienced faculty members and highly equipped with all the technical requirements. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Big companies like Tech Mahendra, Cognizant, Amazon, Adobe, etc. Come for recruitment purpose. Most of the B.Tech students are placed in good companies with high package Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, LPU will be an university I will suggest from where you can pursue your higher studies.
