Dear Virat, LPU is a good university to do both for full-time or part-time Ph.D. One of my friends enrolled for Ph.D. at LPU last year in management. Let me share the eligibility for this programme. Eligibility Criteria :Eligibility: You should have a minimum of 55% marks in your master's degree in a relevant subject. After that, you have to qualify if the LPU NEST exam if have not qualified national level test such as GATE UGC NET CSIR, GPAT etc. The entrance will have 70% weightage in selection. After that, you have to appear for an interview and qualify for the same and have 30% weightage for the final selection. You may avail of scholarships also on the basis of LPU NEST or National Level Test. There is a special scholarship for female students to pursue a full-time or part-time Ph.D. at LPU. The highlight of the programme is the Flexi-Course Work option specially designed to accommodate professionals wherein a student can choose the best-suited option to complete the course work. Option 1 Classes on weekends (Saturday &amp; Sunday only) Option 2 4 days course work every month (Preferably every second week: Thu-Sun) Note: LPU is not offering this option of coursework to agriculture students. Being studied from LPU I would like to say that LPU has very simple admission process when it comes to Ph.D. For admission to Ph.D. the criteria is 55% aggregates marks in your Masters and you have to qualify interview along with LPU NEST. Also LPU is the only university in India which gives multiple coursework options for Ph.D. (Part time) students like: 1.15-days course work (November/ December 2021) 2.4-days course work every month (September to December, 2021) 3. Classes on weekends (Saturday &amp; Sunday only August to November, 2021) LPU has the most advanced labs dedicated to research work. Many labs are maintained by Cisco, Cadence. LPU also has Central Instrumentation Facility which is one of its kind. It has high end instruments and these instruments and facilities help the faculty members, research scholars and students to carry out globally competitive research in basic, applied and medical sciences. The Lab has many instruments like Powder X-ray diffractometer, Differential Scanning Calorimeter, Density Meter, Viscometer, Probe Sonicator, Gas Chromatograph and Mass Spectrometer and much more.
