    Pursue B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering due to wide scope of career. Every university is doing good for his students but yes some universities are comparatively good than others due their proven efforts and track records. My cousin done B Tech of Mechanical Engineering from LPU and he got placed in Maruti Suzuki with handsome package. The LPU has tie ups with more than 700 companies for academics and placements of students. LPU has more than 200 courses and all subjects are industry oriented.     LPU has more than 200 courses and all subjects are industry oriented. LPU is an international university with top placements, world class infrastructure and faculty. In placements and study, LPU is a benchmark. Recently, Tanya Arora of LPU got placed in Microsoft with 42LPA. The Labs and workshops of LPU are industry driven.     Obviously, LPU is better for any course. It's a deemed University, so that you'll get placement through campus recruitments.

    Yes, it is good for the lateral entry. Infact, the opportunities that you will get here will be totally same as the students who are getting in different colleges.
