Times Higher Education has ranked LPU's CSE programme 9th in computer Science among India's leading universities. Every year, more than 500 companies, both national and multinational, come to LPU to recruit. Among them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, and others. Microsoft provided a maximum compensation of 46.4 lacs per year in 2020, and Google recently offered a package over 64 lacs per year for CSE. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students.

In my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and has practical exposure, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. Amazon offers 3 students a record Rs. 28 Lacs package + 28 students offered internships! For Cognizant, LPU has been the destination to pick market ready workforce as it has selected 1800 plus engineering students over the years. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of students. Around 550+ companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. LPU is an axis for Joint campus placement drives. Some of the reputed companies that visits LPU for placements for B.Tech. Are - Amazon, CTS, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, Bosch, Samsung, Voltas, Lava, Vodafone and many more. The top 110 companies that recruit IIT students also recruit LPU students From Google to Microsoft to Apple, Computer Science students of LPU are working with hundreds of leading IT giants of the world.
