Hi Sahiba, of course, the university gives scholarship to the national level players. You can seek admission in the university through sports quota. Recently, LPU was in news during Olympics, as all the eleven athletes who represented India at Olympics were from LPU. The LPU offers 100 percent scholarship on the programme fee and residential facilities to the student under A + grade scholarship that you are entitled. You will get the facilities like, a) Full Programme fee waiver, Free stay with attached washroom, Free food deluxe diet, Food supplements. You won't be charged Prospectus fees, Examination fee and LPU NEST Fee as well. There will be Free Gym and Indoor Sports facility for you during your stay at LPU. There are 4 categories of sports scholarship available at LPU. These are A+, A, B, C. According to performance in sports in last 2 years students acquired the scholarship gradation & in turns get the scholarship benefits also based on category of games. In case, any student doesn't possess any excellent performance in last 2 years, they can participate in TABS (Trial & Audition based scholarships) conducted by LPU. However, this scholarship is not recurring in nature. Every year students need to earn prescribed points to continue the scholarship.
