Dear Students, all the universities that have been mentioned are excelling in the filed of the education. As I am the faculty of the LPU I can give you some key details related to Mechanical engineering in LPU. The NIRF rank LPU faculty of engineering 66th among all the Government and private institutes. The Mechanical engineering branch of B.Tech of LPU is composed of
1) Curriculum Industry oriented: the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal etc. Specialisation.
2)Industry certifications: MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs etc. Are an integral part of curriculum.
3) International exposure: the programme also provide credit transfer option where a student can start its engineering in lpu and finish it in foreign university in tie- up. Along with that a summer/winter school/ international exposure is as form of educational programme that offers courses and semester exchange option is available.
4) Professional enhancement: provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services (team of about 40 persons), Centre for Professional Enhancement and faculty/staff from parent Schools.
5) Placement: University have industrial tie-up with brands like Unominda, Altair, Dharam Consulting, Collins India, Hettich India, MVM Industries, Ashok Leyland, Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances, Volkswagon, Punjab Renewable Energy Systems, Wabag, Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers, Steelstrips Wheels, TCI, Spectraforce Technologies, Voltas, Cognizant, Capgemini, Code Nation, DXC Technology, Evalueserve, Anglo Eastern Ship Management.

The School of Mechanical Engineering is the greatest Mechanical Engineering institution in Punjab, India, with 40+ laboratories and advanced machining to supplement the existing curriculum, which emphasizes establishing a strong foundation. Mechanical is a strong fit for LPU. Good placements in both core and software companies. Hello, whether it's Automobile or any other branch, duration for Diploma is three years after 10th board. However as per National Education Policy, once a student gets admission, after 12th board, once the students complete two years, they will be entitled to receive diploma. Then they can either leave the course or continue the same for one or two more years, they will be entitled for higher recognition.
