IS LPU, SRM or VIT good for mechanical engineering?

SRM or VIT is good for mechanical engineering but LPU is the best option : Mechanical Engineering students at LPU are provided with enormous opportunities of placement drives. I can SEE my few friends getting placed in reputed companies like Hyundai, Reliance Energy, Godrej, Sandhar Technology, XL Dynamics and many more. Even IT industries recruit Mechanical students here. Companies like Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, etc. Are prominent recruiters here. LPU alumni are working in top MNCs across the globe like Voltas International, Honda Two Wheelers, Asahi India Glass Ltd. , Indo Farm Tractors Ltd. etc. LPU Students have been offered International locations like Dubai and Oman by Voltas. PEP lessons begin with Communication Skills in the first semester and continue through the final semester, covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Skills in Quantitative Aptitude Skills in Technical Aptitude Soft Skills and Presentations Practice Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ). Students of the School of Mechanical Engineering also got selected in VOLTAS International at the package of 11.9 Lacs.

Hi Sameeksha, SRM, VIT are good institutes however, I will share the details of B.Tech Mechanical engineering programme offered by LPU. It is an Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal etc. Specialisation. The Eligibility Criteria is (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST/ JEE (Mains). For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) If Candidate has 85 or more percentile in JEE (Mains), then LPU NEST is exempted. The course aims at enabling the student to Effectively build and communicate the solutions using learnings from basic mechanical engineering, basic sciences, mathematics and computational skills and tools. He should have the Ability to design using Design of Machine Elements theories and to create prototypes using relevant manufacturing technology. He should acquire Capability of building efficient energy conversion systems using basic understanding of Thermodynamics Heat transfer and Fluid Mechanics. He should Demonstrate the ability to propose cost effective optimized solutions using simulated environments of Computer aided design, computer aided manufacturing and computer aided engineering. The highest salary package offered to mechanical branch students is 9.5LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4.2 LPA. Above 80% of the students got placed from college. Top recruiting companies are Bosch, ONGC, Ashok Leyland, Hitachi, etc.

The I found the Mechanical Engineering programme of LPU interesting because of the course design and the practical aspects of it. Mechanical engineering is the Science of designing, analyzing, manufacturing, and maintaining mechanical systems using engineering Physics engineering mathematics, and materials Science principles. It is a branch of engineering concerned with the design, manufacture, and operation of machines. Because I have two friends from that stream who were both hired by Hyundai India Motor Ltd, the Mechanical Engineering department provided the most suitable study atmosphere. In terms of mechanical engineering, I can tell you that this course comes with a lot of extra baggage, and it is quite beneficial if you choose LPU as your medium. The most well-known and widely attended tech fest for mechanical students is the GO Kart race, which has been held in LPU for several years and in which LPU has consistently placed first. Mechanical is a strong fit for LPU. Good placements in both core and software companies.
