Is LPU the best university for B.Tech?

LPU is providing its students with the exposure by providing opportunities for guest lectures, workshops, industrial visits, internships etc. Highlights of the programme: Credit Transfer: Student after successful completion of 2 years. At LPU may be given the option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for the completion of the programme subject to conditions and norms of regulatory bodies. International Exposure Option: Students may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to the USA/ European countries or any other country as decided by the University subject to conditions. Based on my personal experience I can clearly say that Engineering at LPU primarily CSE is a top-notch programme offering colossal growth to students and has the highest placement records where renowned companies visit our campus and offers record breaking packages that of 64 LPA (Lacs per annum) by Google, 62.72 LPA by Eightfold. During my Education Period I had many friends from Engineering departments be it Civil Engineering, CSE, Electronics. And I can gladly say that all are placed in a reputed companies. Education: LPU provides a competitive edge through robust curriculum and hands-on learning in niche technologies to develop competence which caters to the requirements of the industry. In order to enable the students to stride with dynamic technologies, the university has various industrial tie-ups viz. , Google, Bosh, Pega, Cisco, Intel and Microsoft giving students an upper edge in respective careers. Rankings and Accreditation: In terms of Ranking LPU emerges as the private university that has secured 51st rank in NIRF and has been recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC) which is a privilege. Not really, because Ranking does't really matter when it comes to Indian institutions. Unless you're in an IIT or NIT or NSIT or DTU etc. Coming to IP university, it may be a Grade A university, but its position with respect to elite institutions in India is really a matter of doubt or questionable. There are some respectable Engineering colleges in IP. But, if you hear from their students, everyone will have some complaint or the other. What really matters is the kind of job opportunities your field has to offer at the end of your studies. College may play some role, but it is usually your own hard work and effort that will make a difference. Rankings are just a waste of time. Wish you luck for your future endeavors. Work hard.

No, LPU is not the best university but it is faring well. Moreover, the best universities for B.Tech are IIT's then NIT's (top 7) then VIT then BITS, SRM, DAIICT, Delhi Technical University and Manipal University.
