I personally believe LPU is best for B.Tech (Mechanical) as this university provides updated curriculum, exposure and good placements as well. Each and every branch in engineering is good, we can't compare them. Mechanical, electrical and civil are the evergreen branches but CS, IT and EC have high placement records. Other than this you may also take chemical, metallurgy, mechatronics, etc.
