I personally believe LPU is best for B.Tech (Mechanical) as this university provides updated curriculum, exposure and good placements as well. The companies which have visited as of now are: Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, SAP Labs, Hitachi Power, Videocon, L&T Technology Services, Ericsson, HCL Technologies etc. With this percentage you will get maximum scholarship as well. Each and every branch in engineering is good, we can't compare them. Mechanical, electrical and civil are the evergreen branches but CS, IT and EC have high placement records. Other than this you may also take chemical, metallurgy, mechatronics, etc.
