Is LPU university best for mechanical engineering? I got 98.1% in 10+2 and I am very poor. I am from very small village.

Asked about LPU - Lovely Professional University - B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (Mechatronics)

There is no proper guidance to me. Kindly search college(university) with highest scholarships to me.

  • Mechanical is a good option as it is the mother of all engineering branches. As for scholarship, LPU provides very good scholarships thereby making quality education affordable for all.

    I can see your percentage in 12th class which is 98.1 percent which is really proud matter for you your family and the close LPU if you take admission in this esteem University.
    With this percentage you can take admission directly in Mechanical engineering at LPU. Moreover you will get a wonderful scholarship which could be the highest scholarship in the scholarship slab.     I personally believe LPU is best for B.Tech (Mechanical) as this university provides updated curriculum, exposure and good placements as well. The companies which have visited as of now are: Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, SAP Labs, Hitachi Power, Videocon, L&T Technology Services, Ericsson, HCL Technologies etc.
    With this percentage you will get maximum scholarship as well.

    Each and every branch in engineering is good, we can't compare them. Mechanical, electrical and civil are the evergreen branches but CS, IT and EC have high placement records.
    Other than this you may also take chemical, metallurgy, mechatronics, etc.
