Yes, Lucknow Institute of Technology, LIT, one of the best colleges at Lucknow, is for engineering and technology, an undertaking of AKTU affiliated, enhancing further credibility of this college. Varying from a great variety of under and postgrad courses offered with main core subjects for engineering streams. Very decent infrastructural base supported by sound teaching experience besides good placements. Although not as well-known nationally as some of the top institutes, the college is at least considered an institute that one can rely upon for technical education in the region.

  • LIT accepts JEE Main (or equivalent) plus state‑level counselling for regular admissions.
  • But LIT also allows direct admission / management‑quota / merit‑quota seats — especially when seats remain vacant after regular counselling.
  • For direct admission under this quota, often the basic requirement is having passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Math) as applicable, rather than a high JEE Main rank.
