M.Sc is a post graduate degree which can be done after the completion of an undergraduate degree that is B.Sc. B.Tech is an undergraduate degree hence it cannot be equivalent to M.Sc. M.Sc is a higher degree than B.Tech and also a non-technical one.

Both M.Sc. IT and B.Tech IT programmes are similar in terms of syllabus and almost identical when it comes to practical learning aspects. But M.Sc. IT is focused around core IT concepts and tries offer deeper conceptual clarity about both practical as well as theoretical aspects. B.Tech IT is more practical in approach and is oriented towards training students to meet the current industry requirements. Hope it helps.

B.Tech is a Bachelor's degree, whereas M.Sc is a Master's degree. So, there is no comparison, but while comparing B.Tech and B.Sc, you ahould go for B.Tech. All the best for your bright future.

M.Sc is not equal to B.Tech because B.Tech is a technical course and M.Sc is not.
