When it comes to scope, let me be very frank. There are not many options like majority of people claim. To teach at school level, you need to have a Bachelor's degree in education and that's mandatory. If you want to go for college teaching, you need to clear your CBSE NET which in definitely the toughest as compared to other subjects. I did not think so. B.Tech is a science stream course and MA is an arts course. They do not have any correlation. By the way, if you want to do Masters or want the degree in Masters, then it is a good idea.

The highest definitely I believe that if you are interested in English then you can surely pursue this course after doing Masters in English. You will be eligible for becoming a lecturer. Do it from a good university and then you can give few examples and become a lecturer otherwise, if you want to study MBA in English then you should do it because it's about what you learn and write.
