Is MAAC is recognized by UGC ? I want to do BA in Animation & VFX, is this degree is recognized by UGC ?

Hi, Well MAAC is one of the premier institute in the domain of Education in Animation Industry. As far as the B.A program is concerned, it is in association with IGNOU which is a CENTRAL UNIVERSITY established by Act of Parliament in 1985. IGNOU Degrees/Diplomas/Certificates are recognized by all the members of the Association of the Indian Universities and AICTE and are at par with Degrees/Diplomas /Certificates of all the Indian Universities/Deemed Universities/Institutions vide UGC. First check if you're suited for Animation. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this. Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose. Go speak to people over there and see if you like their philosophy and they change your perspective.Try their website for more details. Also remember that Animation requires good mentoring.
