The Marathwada Institute of Technology (MIT) is a private college. It is managed by the Gramodyogik Shikshan Mandal (GSM) and is affiliated with institutions like Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University or other relevant state universities, depending on the course. The institute offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering, architecture, management, and technology. Despite being a private institution, it follows the norms set by bodies like AICTE, COA, or DTE Maharashtra for admissions and academic standards.

Marathwada Institute of Technology (MIT) is a self-financing engineering college. The mother organisation is called Marathwada Mitra Mandal which contains many educational entities. As far as we are concerned, MIT is a college that does not belong to the government and still follows the university regulations of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.

There are many undergraduate and postgraduate courses available in the college and the college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
