To decide what is better Marketing or HR, is a little difficult, since this completely depends on an individuals preferences. One should always do what he likes. Having said that, If I only talk about placements here, then opportunities in Marketing are more than HR at BIMM going by the trends. Although even HR stream has a record of excellent placements. The average package offered for both the streams are almost the same at 5.8 lakhs. Go for what you like, and if you are good at it, you will have ample opportunities. All the best.

Ga Harshita,First of all let me tell u that both are superb and well growing stream. For HR u must have good academic record than only will get package of more than 8 lacs. For marketing Avg package is 5.5-6.5 lacs but it's a evergreen branch. Right now competition in HR is more as compare to marketing students.

Hi Harshita. In my opinion Marketing is a never demanding job. Corporate need good marketing and sales personnel to bring profits for the company. Most of the CEO's are from marketing and sales. It's is a passionate and money making career where you grow immensely. Rest HR has its own value, where you learn how to recruit best talent of industry. For me it's always Marketing first.
