is marketing department all about being in fashion and knowing the fashionable trends all time?

sir i am interested in analysing consumer behaviour ,searching out new products in market analysing demand and supply of commodity and i am a girl but i dont have great knowledge about color combinations and girly fashion trends.will this field be suitable for me.

marketing is is not only about the above mentioned area, it veery where you find marketing it is a seince of how exploring the ideas in all different products so you find marketing in finance, banking ,hospitalitiy,ect...
