As mentioned by my friend earlier, Both are different.. In terms of level of education and also in depth of knowledge. One is based on the Application part and it is of Masters level. whereas B.E/B.Tech is of graduation level and it helps you build up a strong foundation in the field of IT/Computers

obviously no.one is post graduate level and other is graduate level.
