Is masters degree (ME/M.Tech) necessary to become a lecturer in an engineering college in Mumbai?

I have done BE in IT with 74% in 2008. I have worked as a software engineer for 5 years (2008-2013), took sabbatical from 2013. Now, I want to work as a lecturer in an engineering college in Mumbai.
