Hi Anannya, I hope you are doing well. Well if you are aiming for the top-tier colleges, you do require CAT but there are many other options too that you can opt and those will not require for you to write CAT/MAT. But entrance exams are mandatory and if not CAT/MAT, you will definitely have to give any other exam like CMAT XAT SNAP NMAT so on and so forth, for the admissions. I hope your query is resolved. Please do write back to us in case any doubt persists. Regards, -Khushi.

If you want to take admission in government university or india's best management universities in private sector, then it is mandatory. But if you want to done MBA from any normal college or university then it does not matter whether you appear in MAT/CAT or not.

No, MAT scores are not compulsory for admissions to the PGDM course at ICBM-SBE, because the college also considers several other entrance exam scores for admissions to the PGDM course. The names of the accepted entrance exams are-  CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ MAT/ GMAT/ State level entrance test. Thus, applicants with valid scores in MAT can get admission to the PGDM course. However, it is not compulsory.

If you make an error in the educational qualifications section of the MAT form, you can typically make amends during the official correction period offered by AIMA. The correction period is open for a short time after the submission of the application. You can log in with your MAT account and edit the form, but not every field is editable, so check before you submit. If the correction period has closed, then you can contact AIMA support, but changes will not be guaranteed. It is always a good idea to save a copy of your original form for your reference.

The admission process for both the MBA (General) and MBA (Dual-Specialisation) courses is the same. Admission to the MIT-WPU MBA course is entrance-based. Candidates need to appear in either CAT/XAT/NMAT/MAT/GMAT/MAH CET/PERA CET entrance exam and qualify for any one exam with a valid score. The final selection is based on the performance of candidates in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds, followed by other selection rounds.
